The Gift I Hope You Receive This Christmas

The best gift you can receive for Christmas is a financial plan. It will cost you nothing but prayer, research, and visioning. If you do it this year, it may make every other Christmas merrier, with less stress, anxiety, and worry about money. Imagine your children’s futures well-financed, your retirement at an earlier age than expected, and your pocket can meet the generosity of your heart.

In the United States, financial planning is an integral part of everyday life. A well-planned financial plan can help a Black family eliminate debt, protect wealth, and achieve a comfortable retirement. This year, I invite you to join the Salter family in having a financial planning meeting to discuss next year’s goals, dreams, and plans. If you’ve never done this before, here are a few tips:

  1. Set aside time to talk about your family’s financial situation;

  2. Start with a brief overview of the family’s current financial situation and future financial goals;

  3. After the overview, encourage each family member to share some thoughts about how they will reach their future financial goals and pay off their debts.

Financial planning is most effective when it is combined with a sound financial education. By learning about your own and/or a family’s financial situation today, you will be able to better understand what it will take to achieve your dreams in the future. You will also be imparting a wealth-building mindset to your children and establishing your own Culture of Money.

We wish you and your family a very Merry and Blessed Christmas from the Salter family and the whole Culture of Money team!
